Howard Blank, provincial ambassador for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of BC, spoke with CIVL on how the organization has continued to help and support individuals living with cerebral palsy over the last year.
Blank says when a child is born with cerebral palsy, parents do not know where to turn or what to do and says that the foundation wants to help and support those kinds of people. He says that during the COVID-19 pandemic, people living with cerebral palsy have not been able to get therapy that helps with mobility issues and says that has been extremely detrimental.
