Current to compete for Canada at Pan Am Games

Cobourg’s Kate Current has been named to Canada’s team for the upcoming Pan-Am Games,

The games will be held Oct. 20 to Nov. 5 in Santiago, Chile. Current will compete in the women’s 1,500 metre run, just as she did at the World Athletics championships in Budapest last month.

This will be the third time this year the former Cobourg Collegiate Institute runner has represented Canada in international competition. She also competed at the World Cross Country Championships back in February in Australia.
