Is the message getting through? Ron Dart, a political science instructor at the University of the Fraser Valley spoke with CIVL regarding the divisions amongst Canadians for following Dr. Henry’s guidelines, specifically addressing reasons why some individuals take Dr. Henry’s advice to heart while others have no qualms about social gatherings and are ignoring these protocols. He addressed how different cultural perspectives on the virus, and perhaps even language barriers, may be correlated with rising local case numbers.
