Angus MacDonald is a street performer with a show titled, "Angus Magico." The show is slated for two performances at Mansons Hall this weekend, June 17-18.

MacDonald was a street performer for 15 years, touring Europe, Australia, and Mexico. The magician also has roots on Cortes Island. He has recently come out of his vaudevillian retirement to tour in his old stomping ground. Angus' daughter designed the poster, and his local Cortesian friends are helping him advertise. His performance consists of comedy, magic, and buffoonery.

“I’m older (now), more confident!” MacDonald says.

The Angus Magico tour includes Galiano Island, Ladysmith, Lasqueti Island, Cortes Island, and Tofino. The street performer will make an appearance at the Victoria Causeway on an upcoming Saturday.

This is a "pass the hat event" and begins each night at approximately 7 p.m. The Friday night show is an all ages event catered to families. On Saturday night, the magic is reserved for adults only.
