With the civic election approaching, Kootenay Co-Op Radio has spoken to the three candidates vying for power as director for Area G in the Regional District of Central Kootenay.

Sitting director Hans Cunningham says he wants to serve on the position another four years, but is being challenged by two experienced community members who think they are the right people to lead the district's activities in the Salmo-area. Kootenat Co-op Radio spoke with the three candidates to find out who they are, what they want, and why they deserve a vote on Oct. 15.
