How a local Foundation has the business community involved. Elizabeth Harris, the executive director of the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation spoke with CIVL about their relationship with the business community. Harris says that the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundations has a great relationship with Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and with all the different rotaries and all the different service clubs. She says that Dave Sidhu, president of the Indo-Canadian Business community is on their board. Harris says that they let all the communities including the newspaper and the business community know of what purchases that they make. She says that the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation works with each hospital and they ask the executive directors what equipment they need.
