The regional council of the MRC Pontiac has requested a revision of the transit schedule for line 910 of Transcollines in order to serve workers in the region who have to go to downtown Ottawa.

This resolution follows the difficulties of some Pontiac workers in getting to downtown Ottawa since the interregional route 148 service was integrated into the City of Gatineau’s public transport service with the brand new 910 line, which no longer goes directly to downtown Ottawa since the start of 2021.

As this change of service is causing a delay, some users in the Pontiac region have now expressed their concern that they will not be able to get to work on time. It has been resolved by the council of Mayors to support the resolution of the Council of the Municipality of Campbell’s Bay to ask Transcollines to review the schedule for line 910 in order to continue to offer direct service to downtown Ottawa for government employees from the region.
