Why the Grand Chief of the Sto:lo First nation thinks that kids need to learn more about the Sto:lo First Nation history. Kat Pennier, the Grand Chief of the Sto:lo First Nation and a member of the Sto:lo Tribal Council spoke to CIVL on why he thinks there needs to be more educational programs that teach K-12 students about the importance of Sto:lo History. He says they need to learn more about the land, water, and all the resources that they have so they can take care of it.
