After months of uncertainty, the BCHL is set to get back underway
Isolated and under pressure to perform on the ice and in school, 17-year-old Kootenay hockey start Noah Quinn is facing off against the pandemic — along with the Junior A players across BC.Last week, the BC Hockey League (BCHL) confirmed five pod locations for the abbreviated 2020-21 season, which will be played in five communities throughout the province. Each pod will consist of three to four teams who will play each other in a single location for the five-week season, starting in early April. The newest franchise in the league — the Cranbrook Bucks, and 17-year-old Nelson player Noah Quinn — will be back on the ice. Noah spoke on Kootenay Morning, Kootenay Co-op radio’s current affairs show, about what it's like to drop the puck in the middle of the pandemic.
