Nelson's school board is facing some real challenges after more than two years without a normal school year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With days to go until the civic election, KCR has heard from the people seeking the trust of the voters for the two trustee positions in School District 8.

Much like in the recent elections debates, candidates speak about aging infrastructure, a need for inclusivity, and classroom resources as some of the top priorities for the coming year.
