What the different programs the MCC provides for people who need help paying rent. Ron Ratzlaff, a representative speaking on behalf of Mennonite Central Committee, spoke with CIVL on their program that helps people who need money for rent. Ratzlaff says, their program gives individuals who are going to be evicted money to pay the outstanding balance for their rent. He also says that they also have a program where they give people money who would like to rent a home but cannot afford it. Ratzlaff says the money that they give is returned to them on a payment schedule which can be written off or they can offer a grant to the people who took a loan from the MCC.
