What a local foundation does to help parents with kids born with cerebral palsy. Howard Blank, the provincial ambassador for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of BC spoke with CIVL on how the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of BC has continued to help and support individuals living with Cerebral Palsy. Blank says when a child is born with Cerebral Palsy, parents do not know where to turn or what to do and says that the Cerebral Palsy Foundation wants to help support those kinds of people. He says that during the COVID- 19 pandemic, people living with Cerebral palsy have not been able to get therapy that helps with mobility issues and says that has been extremely detrimental.
