Live Music Sundays in Bath finished off it's fifth season this weekend with a pumpkin carving contest for attendees. The event also featured performances by The Trevor Walsh Group, and Tiny Horse.
Over 40 pumpkins donated by Thorpe Farms were either carved at the event, or passed on to Fast Freddy's Gas Station where anyone can now take one for free. Winners of the pumpkin carving contest will be announced via the Live Music Sundays Facebook page later this week.
Although temperatures began to dip, there was still an active and engaged crowd at the event. Organizer Bon Evans noted how a good crowd can help curb the effects of colder temperatures.
"Even a crowd of 50 is really warming for a music when you're performing. If there's some people out there, it really does make it that much different," said Evans.
Live Music Sundays takes place at Finkle's Shore Park in Bath. The event features performances by artists from the surrounding area, and sometimes beyond. Evans hinted at plans for the event's continued growth next year.
"Next season we're going to definitely kick it off with a bang right at the start. We're going to organize some news bands that haven't performed," said Evans.
