What Black Connections is doing to help new black artists. Eyerusalem Abebe, an executive with Black Connections spoke with CIVL about the importance of making the Afro music playlist more available to the public. Abebe says it is important to share the black sound that exists in the Fraser Valley.  She says that Black Connections is reaching out to big artists and big labels so they can hear the music sounds. Abebe says that these artists deserve the stage, and they deserve a platform so that is why Black Connections is giving those artists a platform. She says their goal is to get to hear music from artists that they have not heard of before.
