What Black Connections is doing to recognize the African Canadian Community. Eyerusalem Abebe, an executive with Black Connections spoke with CIVL on the different programming that Black Connections has. Abebe says that they have a playlist called the Afro music playlist that showcases the music of the lower mainland  that has music by underground artists. She says that they have 3 curators that they have selected, one of which is a DJ. Abebe says that one of the programs that are upcoming is called the black mental health panel that is currently being filmed and will be released to the public on the Reach’s platforms and Black Connection platforms.
