Pontiac NDP candidate Denise Giroux spoke with CHIP 101.9 about how her campaign has progressed thus far. She said that she has been knocking on doors and meeting with constituents, adding that they were fed up with the current Liberal government.
Giroux is the only Pontiac candidate in the race who also ran in the 2019 election, where she placed fourth with 10.5% of the vote. She said that this time around she found people more receptive to her message and more disaffected with the current government.
