County council, Prince Edward Yacht Club agree to mend decades old land registry error

Prince Edward County Council stamped a deal with Prince Edward Yacht Club for the transfer of Queen Elizabeth (Hill Street) Park’s title back to the municipality in exchange for the title of the water lot areas and dock facilities on Tuesday night.

This agreement was negotiated for the purpose of remedying an error made in 1939 which accidentally conveyed Hill Street Park to the yacht club instead of the county.
