Car accident leaves victim with life threatening injuries

An accident on December 10 on 3rd Line Road has left a man fighting for his life after police say they found him ejected from his vehicle and the vehicle being "completely destroyed". The driver of a vehicle is fighting for his life after being involved in a car accident. The victims pick-up truck was completely destroyed.

The accident occurred on Saturday December 10, just after 8:00 p.m. The Six Nations Police released a media statement detailing the accident.

Police said that upon their arrival, they observed a pick up truck in the south side ditch on 3rd Line Road. They then located the driver, who was ejected from his vehicle, a short distance from his truck. Six Nations Emergency Medical Services and Six Nations Fire Department arrived on the scene and began assessing the driver's injuries. Paramedics then transported the male to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident is not clear. Six Nations Police say they are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed the accident, to contact them at 519-445-2811 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppersbb.com.

Six Nations Police did not respond for comment to CJKS.
