Over the last 12 months, the Abbotsford Arts Council has moved to online operations, like many other Canadian organizations, in order to support the vibrant art community in the Fraser Valley.

Jennifer Trithardt-Tufts, executive director of the Abbotsford Arts Council, said that they have new online shows every month that showcase everything from paintings, music, photographs, poetry and much more. For bigger events, council hosts things like a women’s art show and the popular annual music festival "Jam in Jubilee." Trithardt-Tufts said the organization has also done shows with a South Asian group called the Gurmat Center.

For the ongoing monthly shows, Trithardt-Tufts said they have a committee that gets together and adjudicates submissions.
