Whitewater Ski Resort receives $1-million from government to support year-round operations

The Regional District of Central Kootenay has received a funding grant under the B.C. Government’s Community Economic Recovery Infrastructure Program (CERIP) destination development stream worth one million dollars.

The money will go towards first-ever summer operations at the 30 year old resort, and the development of backcountry opportunities in mountain biking, hiking and climbing.
