After shutdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fraser Valley Rotary Club is bringing back events.

Trenton Poy, past president of the Abbotsford Rotary Club, spoke with CIVL regarding the Rotary Club's regular activities.

"We do a lot of charitable work, so for instance, we did the little free libraries in Abbotsford, we did the science fair in the heritage fair," Poy says.

"In the past, we built 16 playgrounds over the years although we haven't done any recently. We're looking to partner with the City [of Abbotsford] to hopefully do one this fall or this spring... we help the Transition Society, which is a society of disabled people making wheelchairs for other disabled people," he adds.
