Liberal MLA says BC businesses need government help as COVID-19 restrictions ease

A Liberal member of the legislative assembly (MLA) is concerned about local businesses as pandemic restrictions continue to be rolled back. Todd Stone, MLA for Kamloops-South Thompson, believes that since many struggling businesses in BC have made sacrifices and adhered to COVID-19 protocols, the BC government should help them.

"There are thousands of small businesses all across British Columbia which have done their part throughout the pandemic...and now it's time for the BC government to expanding funding for businesses that have been closed or have seen massive drops in revenue."
