Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph returns to red COVID-19 zone

Wellington Dufferin Guelph is back in the Red-Control zone on the province’s reopening system.

In a statement released last week, the province says that the regions that have returned to the colour-coded framework, following the end of the second state of emergency. Public health regions will stay in their level for at least two weeks at which time and the government will assess to determine if the region should stay where it is or be moved to a different level.

Mayor for Centre Wellington and Warden for Wellington County Kelly Linton welcomes the positive news and encourages to shop local:

Much of the province has returned now to the colour-coded reopening system, with the exception of Toronto, Peel, York and the North Bay/Parry Sound District, that all remain under shutdown and the stay at home order.
