Town quarterly newsletter modernizes to be only electronic

The Town of Brome Lake’s quarterly newsletter will only be offered electronically beginning with the winter 2021 edition.

“During the pandemic make us realize that when we go through a print version there is editing and other steps and printing as well as distribution that gives us longer delays before we can get the information to the citizens,” explained Lee Patterson, Town of Brome Lake councillor.

Discarding the print version of VLB info TBL is not only more environmental, but also faster. Citizens are able to read the new town information almost immediately. Shifting to an electronic version is also more economic for the town.

“We understand however that not everyone has access to highspeed internet and is maybe not at ease with technology to get the information online,” mentioned Patterson.

In this case, citizens are able to sign up for a print copy of the newsletter by phoning town hall.
