Victim identified in fatal collision, police seek information

MRC des Collines Police have identified the man that was killed in a 3-vehicle collision Monday morning on Hwy. 148 in Luskville. The deceased is 57-year-old Daniel Pilon. Police say that he was from Rawdon Quebec, but was living in Ottawa for an unknown amount of time.

According to Lt. Carole-Anne Rochon of the MRC des Collines police, the accident took place at 5:30 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Hwy. 148 and chemin McCaffery. One other person involved with the crash sustained multiple fractures that were considered serious but non-life-threatening.

Investigators are seeking details from anyone who knew Pilon or who witnessed the accident. Those with information can contact Sergeant-detective Tomy Bourque at 819-459-2422, ext. 3288.
