We’re staring a new segment on CICK NEWS called The Scrum, it gives us a chance to connect with other journalists working in the region, stories they’re developing and different perspectives on the vast issues we as journalists deal with day-to-day.

This week on The Scrum we speak with friend and fellow journalists Amanda Follett-Hosgood, she is currently the Northern correspondent to the Tyee.com, but Amanda has been working in the region for more than 15 years and has covered everything from Day Trip Diaries in the wine lands of the Okanogan, to fly fishing tales on the Bulkley to reporting from the frontline of Wet’suwet’en’ Nations fight to protect their traditional lands.

She calls Smithers home and we had a moment to catch up on the steps of the CICK Train Car In Central Park.
