Toronto get ready: Actor Cliff Cardinal and Director Karin Randoja have returned for the third time with a new theatrical production A Terrible Fate.
Theatre production company Video Cabaret describes the production as "(Everyone I Love Has) A Terrible Fate (Befall Them) is a dark comedy about life, death, and what terribleness lives in between".
Cardinal plays 10 different characters in this one-man show, transforming himself in Randoja's darkly humorous twist on what it means to be human. Randoja formatted the production of A Terrible Fate to take place in an alternate universe, pushing and challenging Cardinal's characters to take a chance on love despite the desire to practice self-protection.
