The Toronto Argonauts are celebrating diversity on Sept. 23 as they host an Indigenous Cultural Night.

The Toronto Argonauts are one of the oldest professional sports teams in North America and play at BMO Field (170 Princes' Blvd.) located at Exhibition Place.

This year, Toronto Argonauts shared the some time with the children and residents of Tyendinaga Reserve. To honour the experience, they spent at the Tyendinaga reserve and to honour other First Nations peoples, the Toronto Argonauts are hosting an Indigenous Cultural Night that will be filled with pre and in-game Indigenous cultural practices and performances. Chief R. Stacey LaForme will be staring off the game with a land acknowledgement, two-time world champion hoop dancer Lisa Odjig will be performing, and DJ Classic Roots will also be performing.
