The Tim Hortons Western Canada Pond Hockey Championship is coming back to Chestermere Lake from December 27th-29th.

The City of Chestermere has always benefited from the tournament, and this year's 6th installment is looking to do more than in years past.

Alex Halat, Chairman of the Tim Hortons Western Canada Pond Hockey Championship, states that this tournament is a lot to put together, as the entire crew has been preparing for this championship for most of the year.

Weather plays a huge factor in whether the tournament will go off without a hitch or not. This year's conditions look a lot more promising than last year, Halat says.
