What an environmental activist is doing to prevent harm to the environment in the Fraser Valley. Lynn Perrin, a local environmentalist, shared with CIVL the result of large corporations. Mrs. Perrin says, " Most recently, we've been keeping our eye on an area that was zoned R2 and the neighbors thought it was going to be used as green space or park land and we've just found out that they want to rezone it to be for medium industrial use." She also adds," We just found out at a public meeting that the DFO has given the permission to pave over wet land." Mrs. Perrin's intent is to stop the destruction of a large salmon habitat.
