Thursday Artist Talk Series returns with Leo Recilla

 

Leo Recilla is a self-taught artist and graphic designer, he was born in the Philippines and immigrated to Burnaby in 2003. Recilla’s ongoing portrait series is titled Spirit Animals and it depicts the intricate relationship between humans and wild animals. Every year UFV looks for a volunteer community member or group going above and beyond to make difference in the community. The recipient will be honoured at a university event and a monetary prize will be given to a charity of their choice.
