The 12 athletes competing in the Revelstoke leg of the Natural Selection Tour are terrified but excited to be taking each other on out on a steep, pillow-y portion of the Selkirk Tangiers Heli-Skiing tenure.

The eight men and four women competing will each ride against another person, and their run will be judged. Whoever gets the most points then moves on to the next bracket.

The tour was founded by Travis Rice from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. And he's also the first person to drop into the terrain against Ben Ferguson from Bend, Oregon.

The competition will be screened at the bottom and top of the gondalas at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, and can also be streamed from the website.

Stoke FM interviewed 11 of the 12 athletes competeting in the Natural Selection Tour. Missing from the tape is Blake Paul from Bend, Oregon.
