On today’s show, we exceptionally make three consecutive stops out west before going ghost hunting:
In British Columbia the Klabona Keepers fight against industrial developments around their sacred headwaters, and win! John Dooley has been Nelson’s Mayor for the past 19 years, and, at age 74, he’s stepping down after losing his last election. Another elected official has been keeping his chair warm for the past 38 years. Revelstoke School trustee Alan Chell tells us why he likes his job so much. And we finish things off with the paranormal, as three friends from the Six Nations community in Ohsweken Ontario, decided to go ghost hunting years ago and now their work is being featured on a TV show.
Our journalists this week were David Moses, John Rune, Meagan Deuling and Morgyn Budden. National Coordinator, Maureen McEwan. Host and producer Boris Chassagne. Viewpoints is produced by the Community Radio Fund of Canada in Ottawa.
