The City of Terrace has a new chief administrative officer, effective today.

Maggie Hall has taken over for previous CAO Kris Boland, who tendered his resignation on March 21.

For the past seven months, Hall has been working for the city as Deputy CAO and as an economic development officer.

Before that, Hall worked as director of economic development and communications for the District of Kitimat and has experience working with the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine.

Hall says that Boland has been involving her in different decision-making processes, so she feels prepared to take on the role.

Outgoing manager Kris Boland held the position for just over two years, taking the position in December 2020.
