Tantramar Report: Sappyfest Infinite Variety Show starts tonight, and so does the green phase

On today's Tantramar Report:

The Sappyfest: Infinite Variety show starts tonight, and we get a sneak peak from creative director Steve Lambke. The 26-hour variety show live stream starts tonight at 8 p.m., featuring all kinds of local musical talent, artists, and pets.

The final phase of the path to green starts tonight at 11:59 p.m., which will lift all Public Health restrictions including mask-wearing and travel restrictions. Some Sackville businesses chose to keep their mask policy, while others are ready to say goodbye to the mask.

There is a walk-in Pfizer clinic at the Corner Drug Store today. Pharmacist Charles Beaver says that there are lots of spots open, and since the clinic will be a Pfizer clinic, he suggests that parents bring kids in before the “back to school rush.”

Horizon Health Network issued a public service announcement Thursday asking the public to keep non-urgent medical issues out of emergency rooms this holiday weekend. Patients with non-urgent medical issues may experience long wait-times, the announcement says.
