Le Bon Goût Frais des Îles de la Madeleine (BGFDI) is happy to report a successful summer market despite the regulations around COVID-19.

Project Manager in Marketing and Communications Alissa Brunetti says this year locals got to experience the market more than previous years since there was a lower amount of tourist on the Islands. It was a great way for them to discover the great culinary flavours and products from their home Island. The season ran from June to October.

Both vendors and buyers enjoyed the fresh outdoor air while visiting the market.

Listen to our interview below as Brunetti talks about the mission of the BGFDI and a summary of the 2020 Village Market.

"Le Bon goût frais des Îles de la Madeleine, through the relevance of its actions, the quality of its members and their products, the innovative nature of its ideas and the uniqueness of its territory, is a source of inspiration and pride for the gastronomic development of all of Quebec." (Translated mission statement from the organization's website).
