Six Nations Police arrest six in cocaine and fentanyl investigation

A police search of a residence on Six Nations of the Grand River territory resulted in six people being arrested this week.

On Tuesday, Six Nations Police searched a home on Second Line Road seized cocaine, fentanyl, scales, drug packaging, a debt list, cell phones and currency.

Six Ohsweken individuals were charged:

  • Leighanna Louise General, 26, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of fentanyl, and possession under proceeds of crime.
  • Yvette Dawn General Morales, 52, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of fentanyl, and possession under proceeds of crime.
  • William Shawn Jamieson, 23, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of fentanyl, and possession under proceeds of crime.
  • Justin Lee Anderson, 43, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of fentanyl, and possession under proceeds of crime.
  • Cordero Russell General, 34, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of fentanyl, and possession under proceeds of crime.
  • Beau Green, 37, was also charged with possession for purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession of fentanyl possession under proceeds of crime and failure to comply with recognizance.

Three people—William Jamieson, Justin Anderson and Cordero General—were released via undertaking and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.

Leighanna General, Yvette General Morales and Beau Green were all held in custody for a formal bail hearing.

According to Six Nations Police's Facebook page, this is the 15th series of arrests that has resulted in drug trafficking charges this year on the territory.

Six Nations Police did not respond to CJKS' request for further comment.
