The Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) administration building has a new digital road sign.

The new sign showing the councils new branding and logo was erected on Friday December 9, 2022. The Council FaceBook page says the new sign will allow for greater communication and timely important messages to the community. However, after being up for a week, the sign remains dark.

CKRZ spoke with the SNEC Policy Analyst Dwane Jacobs to find out when the new sign might be fully functional. Jacobs could not give an exact date but said there are some electrical issues that need to be dealt with after which the software to run the sign can be tested.

He hopes the work will be completed before the Christmas break.
