Revelstoke Mountain Resort to open on Saturday

Revelstoke Mountain Resort will open the ski hill on Saturday, Dec. 9, a week later than planned.

The opening was delayed because there wasn't enough snow on the mountain. In a notification today, RMR said that over 60 cm of snow fell in the last five days, and there's more in the forecast for the rest of the week.

"This has significantly improved conditions in the alpine," RMR said.

They will release on Thursday a map of which runs will be open on Saturday.
