The County of Prince Edward reported a net operating “surplus” for its Tax Supported Budget of $996,000 dollars.

Committee of the Whole approved of a staff recommendation made at the July 14 meeting, to apportion it and transfer $600,000 to the Reserve for Roads Equipment. The remainder of the surplus ($396,000) will go to the Tax Rate Stabilization Reserve.
