There's a new place for Pontiacers to buy, rent and service small engine tools, as O'Malley's Equipment opened up in Shawville this morning (April 17).

Owner Derek O'Malley told CHIP 101.9 that starting his own business is something that he's been considering for quite some time, and he saw a need that wasn't being fulfilled locally. As the municipal foreman in Bristol for the past 14 years, he said that he had accumulated a lot of experience both with operating and fixing a wide variety of equipment, but also dealing with suppliers.

He said that they would be having an official grand opening once things were fully up and running, but didn't have a firm date nailed down yet.
