The Southern Cortes Community Association (SCCA) is producing a new music series at Mansons Hall that aims to providing monthly entertainment on the island. The programming will be kicked off with a Variety Show Fundraiser on Feb. 24th.

The in-house SCCA entertainment  is calling itself "Moon Dance Productions." Cora Moret is spearheading the programming and explained what the new event entails.

“It's not exactly a lip sync at all, but It's around the same time of year and with the same spirit in mind to fund something for the benefit of the community and to entertain us with our own local talent.“

Moret says the "Variety" title will open the door to different types of acts. She also encourages people to audition to be a Master of Ceremonies. Auditions are Feb. 10 and all ages and family-friendly acts are encouraged to perform.
