B&B Productions of Embrun is hosting a new music gala in Embrun.

One of the organizers and performers at the red carpet event is D.J. Biko and he came into the CJRO studio to tell listeners about The Sound of Music.

First, he explains that the gala is not the familiar musical, but is titled The Sound of Music because it brings several kinds of music which have not been showcased in Russell Township before: Burundian drumming, Rawandese dance and Columbian folk dancing, plus a DJ dance party later.

He also talks about how he came to Canada and moved to Embrun, and how he made the contacts needed to create this event.
