It's been a tough winter for businesses in downtown Sackville, with two York Street businesses closed permanently and two Bridge Street restaurants closed indefinitely for most of the winter. But spring is in the air, and former Black Duck Cafe owners Alan Barbour and Sarah Evans have launched a new venture in the popular cafe space:  Moot Point Tavern.  CHMA dropped by Moot Point the day before they opened to chat with Al Barbour and new chef Phil Benitez.

The tavern will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings for the time being, with plans to expand that schedule as the season warms up.
