​On Friday morning, Maclab Development Group announced their brand-new purchase of Mill Woods Town Centre in southeast Edmonton.

Bill Blais, President and CEO of Maclab Development Group, prides his company for investing in Edmonton since the company's founding in 1952. The purchase looks to redevelop the area and turn it into a transit hub for the eventual opening of the Valley Line LRT.

With all the plans in the future, Friday's purchase is a step in the right direction for local development in the city.
