The Aventure Hélianthe organization is hosting a locals night this Thursday (July 28) at their newly opened axe-throwing lanes at the Pont Blanc beach in Mansfield. Organization director Guillaume Lavoie-Harvey explained that the event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. In addition to the axe-throwing, there will also be food and other activities for attendees when they’re not playing. Admission will be $10, a discount of $5 from the regular price.

Lavoie-Harvey said that the lanes have gotten positive feedback since they were introduced earlier this summer. He hoped that the night would encourage more people from the surrounding area to try their hand at tossing hatchets.
