The Upper Grand District School Board has launched a new parent website focusing on mental health.

The new website for child, youth and family well-being launched yesterday at ugdsb.ca/mhugparents.

In a release from the school board Feb. 24, they say they are committed to creating a welcoming, safe and inclusive learning environment that recognizes the essential connection between mental health and student achievement. The well-being of students is a shared responsibility and the board works to ensure all stakeholders are able to collaborate in a coordinated, responsive and effective manner.

The new website features sections on parent well-being, supporting student well-being, events, resources for those living in Wellington County, Dufferin County, Guelph and more.
