Newly elected Abbotsford South MLA Bruce Banman says the Liberal party needs to learn some lessons on representation. The MLA spoke with CIVL about how his party needs to listen to the population of this province and find out why they were rejected so badly in the last election.

Banman admits that the Liberal party is not as diverse as the population of BC. He says that the party needs to do a better job in recruiting candidates that are more diverse such as minorities and women. Banman says in order to add more diversity, they need to have runoffs in each riding.
