With new artistic director Christine Rabey at the helm, La Jeunesse Choir is preparing for its next season which will include the revitalization of the Les Petits program.

Rabey said the program, which has been absent for about a decade, is for ages 4-6 with a focus on foundational music skills.

"We'll be doing a lot of music play, doing some rhythm games, learning our basic sauvage and singing some fun songs together so if you've got a little one who has some musical ability that they'd like to shine, this is going to be the group for you," Rabey said.

The Les Petits program will run Tuesdays from 5 to 5:30 p.m. La Jeunesse will be set up at the Port Hope Arts Festival on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to answer questions and anyone interested can register for the season and auditions. To learn more, visit the website.
