Kootenay crafters gear up for annual Artisan Fair in Nelson

The finest in West Kootenay crafts will be on display at Prestige Lakeside resort this weekend as the 10th annual Kootenay Artisans Fair is kicking off.

The market, known for its rigorous criteria for entry, will feature all-local products—from weaved baskets, to jewelry, tea blends, spices, art pieces and more. Organizer Aviva Kelly told KCR News that the crafters have been hard at work to put together enough stock for the well-visited event.

The fair will run between Nov. 18-20. Full hours and pricing can be found on the Kootenay Artisan Fair website.
